SCCAP Relief and Resources Initiative has programs to help individuals who are behind on their rent or utilities and live in Adams or Franklin Counties due to the impacts of COVID.

SCCAP is only able to accept cash donations and food at this time. We are also limiting volunteer opportunities to keep folks safe.
SCCAP Food Pantries are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our Gettysburg location, 153 N Stratton St and our Chambersburg location 533 S Main St. All paperwork is completed by staff. Clients are verbally checked in and groceries are pre-bagged or boxed.
SCCAP’s WIC Program is completing most re-certifications, education, and new enrollments over the phone and having clients come in to have their WIC Card loaded. Please bring your ID when loading cards.
SCCAP Shelters are open but not taking new clients at the current time. Our census is low enough that if someone becomes mildly ill, they can be quarantined in separate rooms in the shelter.
Early Learning Resource Centers (Child Care Assistance), Work Ready, Homeless Assistance (Franklin County), Support Circles, @Home in Adams County, The Gleaning Project and Franklin Together staff are working from home and hosting any needed meetings via Zoom or Conference Call.
