@Home in Adams County Coalition Coordinator

Interested in joining a team committed to improving the lives of individuals in Adams County. @Home in Adams County is a community engagement initiative facilitated by SCCAP and designed to increase access to housing in line with Adams County incomes, improve transportation opportunities and access, and increase the availability of livable wage employment across the county (through work with the Adams Economic Alliance). As the Coalition Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our efforts, driving the strategic plan forward by coordinating coalitions and working groups. This individual should have experience engaging individuals, decision makers, businesses and community partners in working together on complex problems. They must be organized, engaging, and bipartisan. They should enjoy attending meetings and sharing information about this work in a manner that engages diverse voices and personalities to get involved. They should understand the connection between attainable housing, transportation, and economic development and how it is instrumental in creating a thriving community while still working to preserve the agricultural and historical nature of our community.  

Hours: 10 – 20 hours per week

Salary: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits: Benefits: 17 Paid Time off days per year (prorated to number of hours worked per week), 13 paid holidays.

Qualifications: A degree in business or community development and/or at least two years’ experience working in business or community development. Able to communicate with people of all walks of life. Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and computer skills including Word, Excel. Publisher, PowerPoint, Canva. Ability to set and meet deadlines, to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to diplomatically discuss complex issues around smart development in a way that moves the conversation forward.
